New Homes and Neighbors Bring New Energy to Kiawah’s Cassique
In the last couple of years, Kiawah’s Cassique neighborhood has experienced success during an otherwise difficult time in the real estate market. In August 2010, KIRE released nine homesites on Tom Watson Lane. This initial release sparked such overwhelming buyer interest that the number of available homesites was increased to 15 to meet demand. Tom Watson Lane completely sold out by the spring of 2011, prompting KIRE’s release of Dennison Lane, a new collection of four homesites located in the heart of the community.

When it comes to entertaining outside, Bob and Mo Flanagan could be considered experts. At their home located in Cassique, the couple has been known to host a variety of gatherings, from intimate dinners with as few as four people to more expansive celebrations with as many as 100. “We’ve even had a DJ on the patio to keep the mood lively for the larger crowds,” says Bob.

Tom Watson Lane Release A Huge Success For KIRE
As the newest neighborhood in Cassique, the homesites on Tom Watson Lane generated quite a buzz early in the planning stages. Kiawah Island Real Estate expected strong interest in this rare opportunity, but when nine homesites were made available for purchase in late August, the buyer response was so overwhelming the number of homesites for sale was increased to meet the demand. A total of 12 homesites were sold, totaling nearly $6.5 million in sales.
