KIRE & Dyal Compass, LLC take to the waterways
Recently, the Kiawah Island Real Estate team joined developer Dyal Compass and builder Royal Indigo Construction, the team behind Kiawah’s newest neighborhood Indigo Park, for an outdoor kayaking excursion along Kiawah’s extensive waterways. Indigo Park is the Island’s only aspiring LEED Platinum neighborhood. Found within Vanderhorst Plantation beyond the second security gate, it will feature 16 homes nestled peacefully along a verdant marsh sharing space with grand live oaks.

The Strand Feeding Practices of Kiawah’s Bottlenose Dolphins
Kiawah is known for its dedication to preserving the wildlife that, along with island residents, calls Kiawah home. Thousands of birds, deer, alligators, bobcats, and more have maintained their natural habitats within the Island’s maritime forests, beaches, waterways, and inlets for hundreds of years. One of the most popular species of wildlife among residents and visitors are the Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins. Found along the Kiawah River, creeks, and inlets, they are frequently seen swimming, hunting, and feeding in packs of a dozen or more.

Freshfields Village’s free, outdoor movie screenings continue in July with top family movies. Showtime is 8:30 p.m., so bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the show!
