4th Annual Lowcountry Wine & Beer Festival
Kiawah Partners | Freshfields Village
On September 5, Freshfields Village will host the 4th Annual Lowcountry Wine and Beer Festival benefiting the Barrier Island Free Medical Clinic. This event will offer a superb array of wines from around the world, lowcountry cuisine, and fine craft beers.

Enjoy an afternoon in the Village set to the smooth tunes of local jazz band, the Cobblestone Quartet. Door prizes will be awarded, and a silent auction will be held to benefit the Barrier Island Free Medical Clinic.
Tickets are $30 in advance ($35 at the gate) and include wine and beer tastings, food, and a specially designed glass. All proceeds from the Festival will support the Barrier Islands Free Medical Clinic. Tickets may be purchased at the Clinic or at a number of convenient locations.
The Barrier Islands Free Medical Clinic is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization that provides health care services at no cost to eligible individuals who live or work on the Barrier Islands, in the Charleston area. Medical care is provided by South Carolina licensed physicians and nurses who volunteer their time at the Clinic, and patients generally see the same physician each visit for chronic disease management.
The physicians at the Clinic treat both acute and chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, depression, and anxiety. The Clinic also provides access to diagnostic laboratory testing and x-rays at no charge, as well as referrals for specialty care when needed.
