Life on Kiawah | Residents

The Kiawah Conservancy and the Kiawah Island Community Association Recreation Center will host a Conservation Matters presentation on March 17 at 3:00. This event will be held at the Sandcastle and is free to participants.

Melissa Bimbi, US Fish and Wildlife Biologist, will give a presentation on the "Effects of Relocation and Environmental Factors on Loggerhead Sea Turtle Nests on Cape Island."   Her presentation addresses the conservation benefit of necessary nest relocation.  A question/answer session will follow the presentation and Kiawah Island Turtle Patrol will be on hand to accept new volunteers.
