Cypress Point Team Transplants Trees
Progress is being made each day at Cypress Point, Kiawah’s newest neighborhood. Just last week, the Cypress Point team began preparing the neighborhood for the free-form pool and surrounding garden. A Holly tree and a Live Oak, 12 inches in diameter, were positioned where the entrance to the pool will be and needed to be removed to allow the proper amount of space.

Rather than cutting down the trees, both trees were carefully moved to a different location within the neighborhood. The team had decided in the early stages of development not to clear cut the area and re-plant whenever possible. By day’s end, three trees had been successfully transplanted.
