Christophe Harbour celebrated another milestone on March 19 by breaking ground for the first home. Sandy Bank Bay, the first neighborhood to be built as part of the Christophe Harbour resort community, is taking shape on the island’s pristine southeast peninsula. The home being constructed at 3 Silver Moon Lane is expected to be completed by late 2009/early 2010.
“Welcoming our first homeowners into the community is an exciting moment and a significant launching point for the project,” said LeGrand Elebash, Chief Operating Officer of Christophe Harbour Development Company, Ltd. “It is truly a place of stunning natural beauty and this first home, like others to come, will be designed to exist in harmony with the environment and constructed with the finest materials, energy efficiency, taking advantage of the rainwater for irrigation, with the vegetation aesthetically adding to the landscape of the peninsula.”

The home will be constructed by RAZO Inc., a construction firm from Canada, with the support of local sub-contractors in landscaping, architecture, and other fields. The St. Kitts & Nevis Prime Minister praised the developers for their strong commitment to the project, indicating that the start of the first home is another sign of buyer confidence in Christophe Harbour and St. Kitts & Nevis.
