Spice it up with Jambalaya!

Spice it up!  Warm up your cooler evenings with this delicious recipe from King Street Grille!

Jambalaya

Ingredients
2 oz Creole butter (whipped butter with chili flakes, fresh parsley & cajun seasoning)
1 1/2 oz each chopped red & green peppers
3 oz chopped onions
2 oz Andouille sausage
2 oz shrimp
2 ounces julienned (sliced) chicken
1/4 teaspoon chili flakes
1/4 teaspoon Blacken spice
1 1/2 ounces tomato sauce
salt and pepper
1 ounce white wine
1 each portion rice
optional garnish: pico and scallions

Directions
Place Creole butter in pan with andoullie, chicken,
shrimp and vegetables (peppers & onions)

Season with salt, pepper, chili’s and Blacken seasoning

When raw ingredients are cooked add tomato sauce
and let reduce by 25%

Add rice and 1 oz white wine--toss thoroughly and
place in a pasta bowl

Garnish with pico and scallions
