KIRE and Kiawah Conservancy Celebrate the Nature and Legacy of Kiawah

Nature | Kiawah Conservancy

On Sunday, October 9th Kiawah Island Real Estate and The Kiawah Conservancy will co-host the premiere of two new videos that focus on the natural beauty and ongoing celebration and preservation of Kiawah. They offer an inside glimpse into the Island’s ever-changing environment and habitats.

Filmed this past summer, Kiawah Island Real Estate’s “Nature of Kiawah” follows the journey of a single drop of dew as it grows to a trickle, a stream, a river, and finally, the sea, where another perfect day on Kiawah Island ends with a golden sun dipping into crashing surf.

Through beautiful cinematic sequences, viewers will observe Kiawah in a new, unique light as it moves seamlessly across the Island’s many different habitats – through the trees and wetlands, across the waterways and dunes, capturing images of wildlife throughout – to present a striking and moving visual message.

Established in 1997 to preserve and support the natural habitat and wildlife of Kiawah, the Kiawah Conservancy shares interviews and insights in its new video, ‘The Legacy of Kiawah” about caring for the Island now, but also protecting it for future generations of families and wildlife. The Island’s developers, wildlife specialists, and residents come together to share their experiences, knowledge, and love of Kiawah to help preserve its thriving natural ecosystem.

Island residents are invited to join Kiawah Island Real Estate and The Kiawah Conservancy on Saturday, October 9 at 6:00 pm as they premiere these two incredible videos. Taking place at the Cassique Garden tent, the premiere will feature wine, beer, and hors d’oeuvres. As space is limited, reservations are required. Please call (843) 768.2029.
