KIRE Sells 11 Cottages at Cypress Point

Real Estate | Cypress Point

After taking reservations for The Cottages at Cypress Point, Kiawah Island Real Estate hosted a drawing on May 5, 2010, and sold five new homes. KIRE previously sold all three model homes and three additional cottages during a pre-construction release for a total of eleven homes sold.

“In today’s real estate market to have sold five new homes on the initial sales release date is remarkable,” says Chris Drury, president of Kiawah Island Real Estate. “This is a testament to the quality of life that Kiawah offers its residents. We have sold half of the 23 sites in the neighborhood and currently have seven sites for sale with prices beginning at $1.2 million.”

Cypress Point’s phenomenal success is largely due its emphasis on eco-friendly building practices and quality construction and design. The Cypress Point team is dedicated to preserving nature while creating an environmentally sensitive neighborhood. Defined by grand trees that canopy the neighborhood and long views of the fifth hole of the River Course, surrounding lagoons, and maritime forest, the homes at Cypress Point blend so well with their spectacular setting that the line between natural and manmade is effectively blurred. And, outdoor living areas and a neighborhood pool allow each home to take full advantage of the view. It is this unique combination of nature and quality craftsmanship that has encouraged such remarkable response and enthusiasm among buyers.
