Amy McKinney, a young Charleston-based designer, was recently featured in Better Homes and Gardens. In the article titled Smart Style in a Small Package, Amy talks about her first home and offers ideas for supersizing a small space for little cash.

As the daughter of Pat McKinney, former President of Kiawah Island Real Estate and current Principal of Kiawah Partners, Amy was exposed to some of Kiawah Island’s best architecture and style from a young age. She grew up watching her father’s involvement in the development of Kiawah, and her interest and passion was fueled by Kiawah’s emphasis on outstanding and cutting edge design, both in interior elements and in architecture.

Currently a design associate for Margaret Donaldson Interiors, Amy helps clients create spaces that not only achieve ‘the look’ but also speak to their lifestyle and compliment their lives.
