Make-A-Wish Wine Festival

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Carolina will host its 4th Annual Wine Festival on the Village Green Saturday, May 1 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.

At this special event, more than 85 select wines from around the world will be paired with authentic Charleston cuisine by Lowcountry Eats and live music. Join us as we grant a wish on stage for a very special Lowcountry child. 

During the 2009 Wine Festival, Make-A-Wish granted a wish to 8-year-old Allyson from Moncks Corner, SC. Allyson and her family traveled to Walt Disney World for a fun filled seven days where they visited Sea World, Universal Studios, and all of the Disney Parks.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. The South Carolina chapter grants over 125 wishes each year. The average cost of a wish is $6000.  Wishes are funded through private donations from individuals, companies, and special events like the Wine Festival.
