New and Refreshed Amenities on Kiawah
Kiawah Partners | Freshfields Village
Kiawah is buzzing with news of the Island’s ever-growing amenities and businesses opening in the coming months.
New, state-of-the-art pool facilities at the Kiawah Island Golf Resort will open in time for the kids to throw on their Swimmies for the 2012 vacation season. At Night Heron Park, a large children’s pool with a curving waterslide and water features will join the existing pool, currently undergoing a full facelift for adult relaxation, lap swimming, and aqua aerobics. A third pool for both adults and kids is being built in West Beach Village. These new facilities will help resort guests enjoy the best vacation experience imaginable.

Construction continues at the Kiawah Island Club’s new River Course Clubhouse. The south end foundation is complete, and the steel framework has begun taking shape. Developments like the elevator, stair towers, and formation of the expanded ballroom are already viewable. In related Club news, both The River Course and Cassique are included in Golfweek’s 2012 Best Residential Courses, adding to each course’s list of accolades and awards.

New businesses and stores are signing leases at the Island’s bustling town center, Freshfields Village. This month welcomes Clear Seas Communications, Apricot Hill, a lifestyle consultant, and Kingswood Homes. J. McLaughlin is expanding to include J. McLaughlin Men and J. Mclaughlin Women, and Tommy Bahama will open its doors in early 2012. Please visit www.FreshfieldsVillage.com for more information and upcoming holiday events.
