Southeastern Wildlife Exposition Descends On Charleston
Each February, downtown Charleston opens its doors to thousands of wildlife experts, artists, visitors and more as the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition (SEWE) comes to town. The festival welcomes some of the country’s foremost experts in nature and wildlife conservation and preservation, and environmental education.

With events ranging from Birds of Prey flight demonstrations and the dock dogs competition to a wild game cooking class, wildlife lectures and film screenings, there is something for everyone to enjoy. To see a complete calendar of events, click here.
Here on Kiawah, everyday is a celebration of the Lowcountry’s natural scenery and wildlife. A number of artists call the Island home, finding ongoing inspiration for their work, and at the Heron Park Nature Center, residents and visitors can learn more about Kiawah and its inhabitants throughout the year.
SEWE will take place Friday, February 18 through Sunday, February 20. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit the festival’s website.
