The Cooler Months And The PGA Are Warming Up Kiawah’s Real Estate Market
Though traditionally the sales pace is quieter over the holidays, Kiawah Island Real Estate experienced a flurry of activity with eighteen closings since mid-December. Motivated buyers are keenly watching inventory and taking advantage of great values. Four of these Just Solds properties closed within 90 days of being released to the market with KIRE.
Single family home sales are leading the way for January’s Just Solds, and seven out of eight closings exceeded $1 million. The homesite market has also seen more activity in the past few months, a likely result of the declining single family home inventory. At KIRE, we ended 2011 with the remarkable sale of 217 Ocean Marsh Road, a double oceanfront homesite that closed for $8.4 million!
