October 10, 2009, KICA's Lakes Management Department will host a fishing tournament open to Association members, visitors, and Island employees. What better way to spend a Saturday than relaxing by the water’s edge and enjoying a little friendly competition?

All ages and skill levels are encouraged to attend. Prizes will be awarded for the largest fish, largest fish per category, smallest fish and most fish caught.

Advanced registration packets, including a map, are available at www.KICAlakes.us or from the Visitor’s Center located in the Town Municipal building, Night Heron Park Nature Center, and KICA Maintenance Office until October 9.

Registration is also available starting at 8:00 a.m. on the day of the event at the Canvasback Pond parking area. Contact the lakes staff with questions at 843-768-2315 or .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address), and don’t forget to bring your South Carolina fishing license.
